Default Anyone have or know anything about american thunder?

I have 2 chambers flows right now and was looking at getting a flowmaster american thunder 2.5" catback. How is the performance? How do they sound compared to the 2 chambers? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

I think the resonation is pretty typical with most flowmaster exhaust. Thanks for the feedback

The flowmaster American Thunder exhaust is a 3 chambered muffer system. I went from 2 chamber flows to these 3 chambered flows and they were a lot quieter. I didn't notice any decline in performance.

I want to say I saw a dyno tech article comparing allof them and the 3 chambers were right there with the best of them even surpassing the 2 chambers.Don't quote me though.

American Thunder catbacks use 2 chamber flows (at least for 96 and up) . As far as power the whole catback is supposed to make more power than the weld in mufflers because they use mandrel bent piping and they flow better. As for the sound I prefer the original 40's sound better than the delta flow mufflers ( which they use in 96-97 catbacks, im not sure about older stangs).

Your right the Force II system is a 3 chamber muffler and the American Thunder is the 2 chamber muffler. I went from the 2 chamber to the 3 chamber and I liked the 3 chamber better because of noise levels. I didn't notice any decline in performance.
