Default removing heater core

is it possible to remove this but keep a/c?


I'd like to remove weight from car thanks !

no real need for heat in florida

The heater and the A/C have nothing to do with each other. Once you pull the heater core either loop the lines or plug them. Depending on how your heater system is set-up.

I figured as much but I heard that you couldnt delete one another on a foxbody.

pluged mine i went to cophers this morning and saw a messe dup fox with the dash off it still looke dlike a pain in the ass just to get to it lol

you can pull the heater pipes out and put a pipe plug in the intake and plug the water pump

Yeah. So you back to the Fox bodies again. What ever happened to that TA?

I don't really see the point in just removing the heater core for weight unless you are on a strict diet. Might as well delete the AC pull the blower motor and just gut the whole car, but ultimately its your call.

+1, you wont save much taking out the heater core, plus it is a pain in the ass.You would save more weight taking out the radio, and it would be a helluva lot easier.
