I have never seen a sunroof that looked as bad as a flat spot on the roof with stress cracks running all over the place through the paint. I second the 'replace the whole roof' method if it really bothers you that much.

I was under the impression the roof of a foxbody is relatively flat?

and if bondo'd correctly would the stress cracks be a possibility?

its remove sunroof.. get some sheet metal.. weld the sheet metal onto the roof.. bondo then paint..

headliner doesnt concern me..

if I could get a friend to do the welding + body work how much do you think the painting would be? if I just ran it through a cheapy place?

The sunroof bothers you, so as an alternative you want fill it, the leave the headliner with a hole, and not worry about the way the roof looks....why not just leave the roof closed....there has to be something better to spend your money on? If you don't care how the roof looks, why change it?

I agree, if the sunroof really bothered you that much you should have bought a mustang without one. Unless you replace the whole roof I would spend the money else where than trying to half ass the job and replace just part of the roof.
