What's the cubic inch.. If it's a 306 or close to it, you could run a Demon 650 or a Holley 650.
For the intake, grab yourself a Victor Jr..

Victor Jr, or the old twisted torker works great also. If your spinning pass maybe 7200 I would go 700-750 also. my old combo before aftermarket heads (mid to late 80's)went 11:30's on motor with torker and 750. What cam are you using? I had 620 lift flat tappet Crane.

I do agree with Steve B about leaving it inj. Maybe a weekend car or drag car yes, but daily driver I would leave inj. Prices and used parts are now outthere all over. Cost is not that great. When I bought my 88GT new in 87 parts were non existence and the few that were were out of this world in price compared to a SBC. I believe it gets expensive on inj when you have to go to a standalone management unit. goodluck

the car is a weekend cruiser, it has a spool in the rear so it see's a little street duty, its a 308. The heads flow 315 cfm on the int. and 279 on the exh. If you guys recommend fuel inj, what size inj should i use with a TFS R series long runner manifold?
Cam has .580 lift int/exh, 282 deg duration int./ 288 deg duration exh. 1.6 rockers

Dont be skeered of the carb. they are easy to work with if you are willing to buy a book and learn, then get out there and tune it. It will cost you much less and make more power.

im running 11.80 on motor with a holley 600.
vic jr on 302.

times are a changin....someone's gotta tune carbs, shoot guns, and keep a woman cookin in the kitchen....
