i think pat had the best idea of an offtopic ford forum, i really don't like the t/f side of this site, one of the mods over there just deletes everything i post anyway, besides the only people i like to even talk to on this site all happen to be in the ford forum. there is no reason not to have an offtopic forum, there are plenty of people on here who i'm sure would be willing to step up and moderate it......

I think the number of people/regulars that has varied in this forum recently has more to do with the holidays and less to do with the overuse of "gaggot" threads..

one of the reasons we are all on here so frequently is so we can have fun busting each others balls, and when a tech issue comes up, we dont just get in a call them a gaggot, we get down and get it solved. and to be rightfully honest, its the only reason i stay here. if we cant goof off whats the point of visiting this site? hell, if we have a tech ? all we have to do is call each other, but we help keep ford tech alive by posting it. but... i have no prob NOT posting, ill just call pat, steve, joe dion chris will rick derek adam i could go on with the list. you say it runs the new guys off, well if the new guy runs is yap and cant take it back, well maybe he needs to go to sesamestreet.com or something. we dont just jump on the new guys, they get into our threads.

I can tell you a FFA type forum is about to come back to TR. And as I mentioned before to Pat I have been trying to get individual tech forum FFA tyoe forums for a while for this very reason (close knit tech forums). I am going to try and push for it again but it takes a majority vote among the admin to get it.

i realize the admins run the site, however the users are the reason it exists, not to sound like an ingrate, but i think the admins should really listen to the users on this one.
