Anyone want to install lowering spings on a 96 GT? $
Hey guys, my lowering springs (Eibach pro kit) is coming in on monday and I don't have anyone to help me install them at the moment. Plus I don't have access to power tools at the moment, and more importantly, i want to do this car right and not screw anything up.
If anyone is experienced in Mustang suspension and wants to do it, or help me I'll throw you some money for the time and effort. let me know, because i'd like to do it as soon as possiible after monday.

its easy, on the fronts just put a jack under the control arm and lower it slowly after you unbolt everything. it wont come flying out then. in the rears put a jack under the pumkin and unbolt the shocks and then lower the axel till the springs are free.
but for $75 i would let chad do them

Even using a jack under the fronts i still like to stand infront of the car in case a spring decides to shoot out. Also it really helps to have a motor in the car when you do it. It is a little dificult to install springs and struts in the front when the car has so little weight you can pick the front up by yourself.

the best way to do the fronts and the safest, for future reference is the unbolt the control arm from the k member, the rears pry out and you can almost stick the new ones in by hand.
but for $75 id let chad due them too, I hate doing front springs.
and also word of advice, when buying shocks/struts, buy ones for a fox body mustang not a SN95
