Only if you want to spend the money on turning the crank, otherwise throw some new bearings in there and let it eat, lol. Putting aftermarket rods in a stock block is just going to make it more expensive when it pops.

the timing chain stretched because the cam retainer bolts backed half way out, glad i caught it when i did, that could have been a real mess.

we have a timing chain in our motor...no fancy belt drive or gear drive, just a good quality chain...

its not a matter of saving up...we were going to put one one wen we had the motor built but the engine builder said there was no need for it..waste of money
