Ford rant....
Got the windows tinted today and asked if they could put a glare strip over the gay ass pony trotting across my windshield, which is accompanied by a gazillion black dots. Come to find out its etched into the windshield and they cant cover it up, so I'm stuck with this gay ass pony trotting across my windshield. He suggested I put black vynol (sticker) to cover it up.

+1 it only takes a light punch from the inside in the middle to spider a windshield...dont ask how I know...

I have the same issue with my Mach.
Also a friend of mine with a F350 couldn't get one either because his had the F350 in the same place we have the horse.

i had mine tinted over the horse. i have no problems with it. you have to squeegy(sp) it everyday for a week or so and it will stick to it. rons window tint at the oldsmar fleemarked did it

when i had my car tinted the guy went over the black dots, there are a few little bubbels in there but most of them got covered nicely
