slick mounting
ok.... ill be honest. im 16 years old and tryin to be careful make sure i do this right. Ive heard its sum wat like a bike tire. As being... take the wheel, insert tube then slick over it. inflate the tube, then screw in the studs into the tire... please somebody help me and give me hints. Thanks. realy appreciate the advice.
I do alot of wrenching on my car but mounting tires is something I won't do. It freaks me out when the tire shop sets the bead and you hear that loud pop. I'd just take it to a local tire shop and have them do it. That way if they mess it up I'm sure they'll reimburse you. -Mark

i skipped the tubes. i run 10" slicks on 10" rims. i did drill and bolt them .
they seem to be used more with wide rims/slicks and really low airpressures. i rum 10# currently and as low as 8 with no issues.
