ok, so im basically dumb as shit when it comes to chargers. so my question is what would i have to do, to run a charger on a 10.5:1 motor? thanks

was thinking about running a t trim on a 306, and was just wondering what was all involved or maybe a turbo whichever is cheaper is better

You could run a thicker head gasket to calm down the compression a tad, every bit helps. But definately less timing, a lot of fuel, and most likely some race gas.

t-trim is noisey as hell, Prob why its for sale,happens alot people buy them and dont realize how noisey they are, sounds like a million nails on a big a$$ CHALKBOARD.or a power steering pump full of sand.

I happen to LOVE the sound of a T-Trim.
Thicker head gaskets can be used, but its definitely not ideal. When you run thicker gaskets, you screw up your quench area. The quench is what forces the air/fuel mixture around the bore instead of just laying there in the middle. If it lays in the middle, it will detonate bad. So sometimes thicker headgaskets cause more detonation than they stop.
If you have a big cam with lots of overlap your running compression ratio will be lower which will help prevent detonation. Alcohol injection will help, but realistically, you'll never be able to run as much boost on that motor as you could on a low compression motor. It would be great for the "wow" factor, but otherwise, I'd stick with nitrous on that high compression motor.

yea i think im gonna put the 175 shot on it, i guess 10's are ok for a street car. ill just put a gear drive in for the whine
