Isn't that shit crazy? There are a few on ebay in the $400 range for the entire thing. I think I would get one in kit form though, through somewhere like this:

By the time you add up all the little parts you need, its just over $300 before the radio... and the radio can be anywhere from $100-$200.

do search for hydrofoam on ebay. Sort by highest price first and you will see them.

 

yea i found one. 350 ready to fly, and 232 everything you need, but you have to assemble

 

Scott02GT on turbomustangs makes those kits on his laser cutting machine. However, he can not sell them, becuase he ended up hooking up with another guy on TM.com that sells them on ebay for the price of almost 400.00 complete. Scott leaked out that the guy is paying about 60.00 for each of those peices. Scott was going to selll them to us on TM, but then they wrote up the contract saying he was not able to sell them, only manufacture them, but hey, i guess thats business for ya.

 

You can get the laser cut plane for $60 through the link above. Add motor, batteries, speed controller, servos, radio and your set Other people sell the kit complete with radio and all for $400ish, which is about right when you add it all up.
