Alright, so I just got done talking to an old boss, and he's looking to offload his 1971 Ford Torino on me. It's a freebie, but from what I understand it needs a new paintjob, some interior work, and some transmission work. Apparently the engine is still strong, the rear end is good, and the body is straight. Seeing as how I can't pass up a free car, looks like, for the second time in my life, I'm going to own a Ford. Depending on how bad she looks in person, I'm either going to clean her up and sell her, or I'll sell her as a project car. Last time I saw the car, 4-5 years ago, it was a bad machine. I doubt it's in as bad of condition as he says.

I don't think it's matching, and even if it were, it's a '71 coupe, not GT. I might be able to get like $5-$8k if it's clean when I'm done with it.

 

even if you put like 2.5-3k into it youll come out on top... good luck with the build... keep us posted!!
