On a stock 5.0 one, you can stick a screwdriver in the fan to stop it from spinning, but it may bend the fan some. If its a 3G, no such luck since the fan is internal. If you can't get it loose, take it to a tire store or car repair place and have them zip it loose.
or just loosen it with the belt on.
just take the alt to an autoimotive store and they can take it off for you if you dont have an impact gun. or you can try your luck by keeping it on the car with the belt still on it and trying to get it that way. or just stick a screwdriver in the fan to stop it from moving.
