it was a bitch but I did it... the engine would turned over a few times with me trying to yank it off... wasnt as easy as I thought either

just take the alt to an autoimotive store and they can take it off for you if you dont have an impact gun. or you can try your luck by keeping it on the car with the belt still on it and trying to get it that way. or just stick a screwdriver in the fan to stop it from moving.
