I have a floppy steering wheel....

Default I have a floppy steering wheel....
My steering wheel decided not to lock in its tilt position anymore, it goes up and down with no resistance while I'm driving. Its an 88 5.0, whats it gonna take/cost to fix??

you can pull one from cophers pretty easily. then just throw it over the fence so you dont have to pay for it shhhhhhh

i def wouldn't try that!!!! talk to eric123 and mofat_svt who tryed that with a turbo and almost got arrested!!! its a good thought tho!

sometimes those columns just need to be tightened up...they have 2 bolts that hold the ignition switch housing to the round part of the column, these bolts tend to back out and need tightened up..
