compression question
ok i was wondering what kind of compression i might expect from this setup. i have a 347 stroker short block bored .030 over with -5cc notch volume on the pistons. And the heads im lookin to get are afr 185 heads with 54cc combustion chambers. any guesses

formula is:
comb chamber cc's+gasket cc's+deck cl cc's+(displacement x 2.0483) divided by comb chamber cc's+gasket cc's+deck cl cc's= comp ratio

man you could have asked me that question. with a 347 depending on the thickness of head gaskets you use youre looking at somewhere around high 10s to11.1 give or take. in my 306 i had about 10.1 with those heads. man all this talk about building motors got me itching to get back to work asap and make money to build my 408 then get the car down here.
