Full exhaust and gears, they should do a high 12 @ 105 or so.

Out of the box they're about 13.6 or so. If it has full exhaust (i.e. LT's, o/r H and catback) and gears then I would say high 12's at 107. However, it depends on what gear ratio it has. Optimum gear ratio is 4.56. But if he has sticky tires and 4.56's with the exhaust then mid 12's are achievable. -Mark

Well what did that pushrod of yours run stock? 14 what? I'll line up with any n/a stock longblock 302. You'll be surprised what a lil 281 can do. What that pushrod of yours run?

 

I HAVEN'T TOOK IT TO THE TRACK YET I JUST GOT IT DONE LIKE A WEEK AGO AND ITS NOT TUNE YET...IT SHOULD RUN 12's ALL DAY LONG...IF I HAD A LIGHTER BODY IT WOULD IN THE 11's

 

Times in my sig were on street tires stock(spinning) ......lol everyone swears I am not stock but I am ....down to the paper air filter......Ive raced a modded 98' cobra full exhaust headers cai chipped and tuned and beat him from 30-130 and dig to 130......I beat modded 99 -01 cobras all day long.......I think I have a freak........The other day I was at the track hoping for a 12 sec run on drag radials well lets just say it was going good till I went to hit 4th and my tranny decided to take a major shit.....

 

I love your car man I saw you on hills down by the flea market in oldsmar one time that thing sounds nice at idle......The only thing I dont like is the red corner lights....

 

Does anyone know of any used trannys in good condition? or a place that rebuilds them fairly cheap?
