Default suspension help?

i have a 1995 mustang v6 and i just bought it a few weeks ago. a couple of days ago it started to squeak when i would hit a dip in the road or if i am turning. the ball joint boot looks deteriorated and i was wonderin if that would cause the squeak and if i can just replace the boot or if i have to replace the entire ball joint. all help much appreciated.

well if the ball joint is sqeaking then yes you need to replace the entire ball joint. the boot is what holds the grase in the joint and keep it from rubbing bare metal to metal and causing wear.

i would recommend a set of Steeda X5 ball joints if they have them to fit your car. they will last alot longer and give you a better geometry on your front suspension.
