Good at troubleshooting?
I'd post in general car chat, but I know the only replies I'd get is "Why are you fixing a Camry, it's slow?". And besides I know people on the Ford forum actually work on their cars, instead of just putting on a fart pipe and a wing.Anyway, car has been sitting for two weeks, wouldn't start. Battery's strong, even tried jumper cables. Starter won't crank over. Put in new starter. New starter turned it over three times each time struggling, after that only solenoid clicks but it won't even turn the flywheel. There is fuel(pump primes) there is spark(plug wires spark on intake).
Why can't it turn the flywheel.Could it be that motor seized up in just two weeks?!?!?!?
Wish I could push start it and eliminate other things that could be wrong but it's an auto.
WTF?!?!?!?

I tried turning crank pulley with wrench. Won't budge. Why do I have to pull the plugs to turn it by hand?

removing the plugs, eliminates compression

Pull the plugs to eliminate cylender compression, you will only feel the mechanical resistance of rotating assy. that way.
I would suggest checking all of your battery cables, take them of the post, clean, re-install. Check all grounds, engine to body, battery to body, etc. Bad grounds owned me a couple weeks ago on my work van, symptoms very simmilar to yours.

I'd put more money on bad battery or bad connection rather than a siezed motor.

I've been procrastinating in selling it. It's been sitting for 2 months, but I've been starting it up every two weeks. Battery is good, even tried with jumper cables. I hate searching for a bad connection.

Yeah, electrical issues suck. So even using jumper cables the solenoid just clicks when you hit the key? The next step would be to pull the starter out and hook the jumper cables to it to see if the starter is good. If it is, then its going to be a wiring or relay issue. I doubt very seriously the motor has siezed in 2 weeks. My turbo mustang sat for about 2 months after I blew the headgasket and it fired right up, even with god knows what in the cylinder that blew.

I just put in a brand new starter yesterday, after the old one went out.
The electrical gremlins plague me.
