Gallery......... she is running a little stiff. Have to still break it in then James can tune the car. I have a PCV problem though. The vacum line on the crankcase isn't pulling well enough, its blowing oil out the breather cap I have on the passenger side valve cover. I don't know how to fix it.

Take it to the Skyway bridge and make some pulls up the hill. If it still throws oil, get a tall fill tube, K&N filter/fill cap, and a tuna can. (Starting to sound a little ghetto?)

can you elaborate on the tuna can setup? I am about to go with a cheap summit catch can with a breather on top.

 

does your valve cover have a baffle in it? your motor should not spew oil out of the oil fill hole, sounds like bad rings to me.

Your doing a great job Allibaba,if it were me Jason I would do the moroso aluminum weld in breathers w/ integrated baffles and filter assemblies.I did notice some blow by but figured it would go away as the rings began to seat,I guess that is not the case?Or is it just the usual oil vapor and residue.Run it by the engine builder and ask him if he is alarmed by the amount of smoke maybe.LMK if I can help.

 

There are no baffles, and its not alot of oil just vapor and residue that builds up. I have less than 30 miles on it still so things may not be seated as of yet. I am running the vapors through an aluminum catch can with a breather on top I had on my 69 mustang. It is doing the trick and its not even blowing much anymore.

 

So, are you saying that your not going to add a tuna can? Didn't you know that just the addition of a tuna can will add HP! It's better than V-tech, yo! From what I heard, about the only mod better than a tuna can is Naws.
BTW: I heard the red tide killed many of the Goliath. Talked to my brother and he has seen dead Jew fish floating in the bay. Kia size fish!
