Default GD Exhaust leak is drivin me crazy!!

So I did my clutch yesterday, get everything back together and tighter than it was when I took it off and its leaking HORRIBLY bad, so I get under the car and tighten the pipe more and more on the headers, well it quiets down alot but is still leaking from the passenger header, I just don't get it, there are no cracks or anything but it is sounding like serious ass and I get alot of stares from the old neighbors

My question is, what could I do to make it stop leaking until I can throw some cash together to get me a new h-pipe?

+1 use ultra copper, it should last long enough till you get an h-pipe, jb weld wont work under those conditions

loosen all the bolts and start over, dont just crank the bolts down one at a time, do each one a little and you'll get a better seal.

I was messing with it for about an hour or so, maybe more and this is the best I could get it.. Could I get some of the red rtv silicon just for a week or so until I can throw some cash together to get another h-pipe?

oh it's definitely his hpipe. I don't know if someone made that rusty pos or just cut up a good one and then welded it in a few places (including jb weld it looks like).
Don't worry, Jason, when we get a little time, we'll drop it and try it a few times and find the "spot" where it doesn't leak too bad. until then, patience my friend!!

Still the best idea to get a new one!! that thing is horrible, he ain't kiddin' folks!!!
