Default Changed clutch today, old clutch fell out in pieces, nice huh?

So I yank the tranny, yank the bellhousing off to find chunks of my clutch resting at the bottom, pull the pressure plate off and about 6 pieces of my clutch fall off, half of the damn disc is complete metal, this is making me wonder how this happened, and how the hell the car drove like this? It didn't drive easily but it still drove like a car with a completely burnt out clutch, weird.. I'll snap a few pics of what was left of the disc and the pieces of the clutch that were just chillin in the bellhousing tomorrow when its light outside, I just thought this was weird how the clutch went from not slipping at all, to slipping like a mo-fo after the cable broke while daily driving and I repleced with a steeda one, and then to falling apart

make sure you turn your flywheel, or your new clutch will go to shit in no time.
