What does "Deviation" mean on a Ford wheel?

Check out the pics with these wheels.
I wonder if some companies that sell the OE ford wheels for REALLY cheap are getting factory seconds and selling them as perfect.

I believe "deviation" means a deviation from the color that originally came on the car. FRPP I believe sells silver, polished and OE gunmetal versions of the anniversary wheel. The deviation probably is just the color.
Except the wheels that are being sold (assuming they came in those boxes) are the OE color. I could see if they were silver or something else.

The pictures are a little funky, but they are the darker color like I "had" (sold car).
The silver ones are REALLY silver, check this:

From the pictures, two wheels look Gunmetal and two look silver??Just get them from GEF for only $100 more and then there are no worries.

Brett - when you get a chance, check your wheels for runout/out of round or other imperfections. I had one that I thought was a little funky (noticed it the day I sold the car) and since then have wondered if GEF and others (especially diversified marketing) could possibly be selling "out of spec" wheels which were once rejected by FRPP.
I am considering running a set of these on my 67. Comparing an OEM wheel from a cobra and a boxed wheel from one of these less expensive sources would be interesting.

Yeah, the boxes that I got didnt say anything funny like that on them either. Maybe its nothing, but I can tell you that at least one wheel had a "wobble", like I had hit a big pothole or something, but that wasn't the case. I could see it when I would spin the wheel by hand.
