Default intake and throttle body

I will be getting a decent amount of cash in the next month or 2 and i was wanting to see what you guys thoughts on an intake and throttle body would be.. Is it worth doing? My current mods are an offroad hpipe and flowmasters.. Should i do an uprgraded mass air too?? What kind of gains would i expect

yes it is 65mm, but you would be surprised at what a 75mm will do for these cars.

i will have a BBk CAI before too long if you want that to go along with my Predator.....

as for a mass air upgrade, that will net you some horsepower as well. a CAI can be had for cheap(mine) and a TB is pricey for the gain you will get. but the Tb and MAF are about the same in price. the best deals i have found on modular parts is here www.rpmoutlet.com i have ordered many many many parts from that site and never had an trouble.

personally i would go with a mass air meter before the TB, you stock throttle body flows good enough for now. but if you get heavy into mods then it would be a good idea.

Leave the stock mass air, it will work fine up to 300 rwhp. A plenum and 75 mm throttle body will give you some decent gains. I suggest pullies also for a few more horses.

I open that sight and one of the first things i see is a kit for a 75mm throttle body, 80 or 85mm mass air and plennum for 580. not that bad of a deal to me..

I Wanna get gears but arent they alot to get put in? and alot just to buy?

the gear is like $180 and install is around $200....in my opinon thats the first thing u should do. i would diff hold off on the Mass air idea... like we talked about...do pullies, intake, plenum, gears, and a 100 shot....just my .02

Gears are definitely #1 (although I STILL havent changed mine out...lol).

On the plenum, I would go buy a dremel and hog out your stock one. I've done 3 or 4 for folks (including myself) and each has made a noticeable difference.
