oil press problem

Default oil press problem

Ok i just built a 347 its a 91 block that was bored to the pistons all new cam bearing and freese plugs crank was cut 10/10 childs and allbert rings file fit. With an HV oil pump i built the motor my self i checked all the clearances everything seamed fine. started the car over a week ago i've been driving it for about 6 days did an oil change yesturday morning and drove it over to my boys shop to show him it. He asked me if he could take it for a ride he took it down 49th Street. and came back with like no oil press. Not sure if he did something or not is there something else i can do or check or just pull it back out????? I did switch out the oil press gauge same reading machine shop just laughed The motor makes no ticks or knocks at all still runs fine have not drivn it since it did that yesturday afternoon

Idle 60 driving 80

Oil Press Hot


Idle 30 Driving 50

i would pull it, and take it back to the machine shop have the builder inspect everything, i would hate to see you throw a bunch of money down the toilet.

im real curious what the rod and main bearings look like, i would also replace the oil pump, do it now, while its not blown apart later and trashed.

Still would like to know what made it do that there's nothing in my filter or on my drain plugs (I have a filter-mag and magnetic drain plugs)

very possible, but no oil pressure is definately not good, i would definately pull it out, if you need a hoist, pm me you can borrow it.
