Anybody that has a supercharger, does your car just not run the same in the summer? It's my 1st summer with the SC, I took it out today and it just didn't seem to be the same as when it's a little cooler out. Anybody have this problem?

 

makes sense that will higher temps and muggier air would slow it down.

 

Idle quality wasn't the same either, seemed to be a little rougher??

 

All cars run slower in the hotter months. Less oxygen in the air. That's why I don't race from May-September. Especially for a motor car. -Mark

 

Two effects. #1 Hot air doesn't make power.
#2 if you have a intercooler, it doesn't work as well rto cool down the new hotter air, thus making your charge even hotter and slower.

 

Same here....car feels like crap!!! I also don't race in the summer!!

 

Methanol injection. Try it, serves many purposes.

 

I have noticed my car seems to be running alittle rough now but I think I have another problem because last summer idle was fine and it ran great. I have also noticed I am getting worse gas mileage. I plan on getting my car tuned again hopefully that will solve my problem.
