Default randomly shutting off??

well over the past 2-3 weeks my car has randomly shut off 3 times. The first time I hit one of those little but rough speed bumps hard and no sputter or anything, I didnt even know the car shut off untill I hit the gas and it didnt go. Well I figured it as the fuel pump switch thing in the back but that wasnt it... So I drove for the next week or so without a problem, well when comming to a stop light, all the sudden I lose the power brakes.. again, no sputter or anything. So I look down and the car is off again...So I start it right back up and a few days later it did it again! I have no idea what it could be.. there is no sputter at all, no jerking, nothing. Any ideas?

Last I heard of that it was a bad crash sensor, it shuts down the car in the event of a crash. I don't even know if your car has them. Im sure it does. This was on a Crown Vic that had the problem. Would be cruising down the road and if he hit a pothole it would shut the car off.

Check the battery cables and the engine grounding points while you're at it.

Yeah, it does seem like it. Its alot of stupid little stuff though. Bad coils, pulsing (clogged) injector, rear end (which has not had a problem since the track). It has only done it like 3 times over a few weeks and each time seems to be when I am slowing down
