Let's see here, I've got your suspension, valve covers, catch cans, and a few other things that I can't think of. My car is (sort of) Midnight Blue with a white hood. Now you want me to wear your helmet. I see a wall in my future.

No problem on the heim joint. It kinda matches the rest of my car...and my left knee.

I've actually talked my manager into coming over and helping me push it down the road.. I'll let you know when it's here! Unfortunately due to everything else that's going on in my life right now, not much will happen with it for a while, but it'll be mine and that's the first step!.

Not really, Mars, I straightened everything out with a torch and a BFH.

Rob, shoot me a pm with a pic and a price (since berg boy still hasn't). Your head's about the same size as mine. If I can't convice the track boys that I'm really Derek in Derek's car (hard to do since I can't come close to his times), they're gonna make me get a cage and harness before I come back. I'm sure they won't like my leather helmet either.

Sorry we weren't able to stop and help you also. By the time I saw Bill pulled over, I was already a ways ahead and could not get over. I was having problems w/ mine as well and since he doesn't have a phone I couldn't let him know if I got stuck somewhere.

I know Bill told you this already but I just wanted to mention it. It was nice to finally meet you too.

No problem, Janine, if you couldn't stop, I didn't want Bill to stop anyway. As soon as I popped the hood, I had a pretty good idea what it was and immediately got on the phone to Joe and Rob. They were behind me with a rolling car shop so all was well.

 

John, I don't have the timeslips with me but from memory (duh) the first run was just footbraking it and the 60' was 1.8x, second run wwas with a 3000 pill, 60' was 1.7x and the last run was with a 3800 pill, 60' was 1.6x.

Nothing to get excited about really. The car still was on the 14 year old stock control arms and springs, I did have 90/10's and 50/50's on. Slicks were a little old and hard, and that's the first time I've ever used a transbrake. Next time I hope things will be a little better.
