Good luck with it. We'll do whatever we can to help you along the way if/when this install begins... even cam/intake selection.

its not worth just putting the cam in i was starting to do that until i realized how much had to come off the motor to put the cam in i just decided to go and buy a whole new motor everything is going to to be off replace it now its not worth it to put in a good cam with stock heads you already are down to the heads when u do it just buy new ones

How many miles on the current cam and bearings? If it's a lot or the origial motor, you might as well wait until you redo the whole engine because the cam bearings probably should be replaced too.

If you want the MOST bang for your buck then depending on the shape of your motor you can run a little nitrous (75-100 hp shot). Does your motor have forged pistons? If not scratch the nitrous idea and just save your money until you can do it right. Its hard to build a motor piece by peice over a long preiod of time. Its not hard to put a cam in but you have to in most cases remove radiator, water pump, timing chain, old cam and replace valve springs and put new cam in. Lots of work for little gain like others have said.

save ur money for a head cam intake package. either from trickflow, edelbrock, or holley. all of these companys packages will make anywhere from 280-310 to the wheels. ahh shit ur carbed... hmm dont bother with the cam unless u get some heads, or rebuilt and port ur stockers like i did. the stock e6 or e7 heads u have on ur 302 choke the motor at about 5k, along with teh stock cam. Doin one or the other isnt going to get u that great of gains. do it all in 1 shot
