Default Sub Frame Connectors

I finally got my sub frame connectors on. They are home made but they are soo much more stronger than any pair you can buy. Only problem we put them on with the top down and now my top doesn't line up. We had to fight with it to clamp it back down. That and does anyone know what I can use for my conv. top to take out all the mildew and brighten it up a bit? I've tried canvas cleaner but didn't work.

Haven't tried that but will give it a try. Where can you find it?

We welded them on. Yeah they're not going anywhere, I was hanging from them when we had it on the lift.

That's why it's always advised to use a drive on lift when installing jack stands. The chassis is stressed differently when the weight is on the wheels than it is when the weight is on the lift points that you randomly select when jacking it up.

Yeah it handles soo much better now. I can turn it sides soo much easier too. Big difference though. Next I'm putting in caster camber plates this weekend.

the only problem is you welded twist into your vert. you have to use a drive on lift or ramps when putting subframes on a vert.

i did mine a couple of weeeks ago in my coupe and it made a big diffrence.
