I have a 2001 4cyl 2.3l Ranger with vinyl seats. It's the 5speed model. Single cab. I was wondering if i could change the seats to something more comfortable, something that isn't a vinyl bench seat. I would like cloth or something if it could be done. Please someone let me know if I can change the seats on my Ranger. My buddy has a 97' Single cab with cloth seats that are a hell of lot more comfortable, is there anyway to put seats from a 97 or something around that year into mine?

Where could i find the seats though, in good condition and cheap...

 

junkyard... i wish i knew where my truck went, albeit that was a long time ago... if i were you, id make a friend in a collision center at a ford dealership, and ask where thier totalled vehicles go. most go to auction, but i'm sure if they dont sell directly to junkyards, they can at least tell you where it went, maybe the auction winner of the vehicle.

i know mine were pristine- 2k miles, 3 weeks old. look for newer trucks hit in the tail (like mine) or rolled over (like mine).

 

Do you have any idea how much they would run me? I was hoping to spend like 100-200 for both seats.

 

check ebay or something like that if you cant find anything at a junkyard.
