Default FS: Energy Suspension Trans Mount

I have a tranny mount that was on the car for 4 months that I would like to get rid of. I didnt like the way it felt and went back to a stock one.

It will fit 85-98 mustangs with auto or manual transmissions.

From Brothers Performance website:
Price: $34.99
Brand: Energy
Part Num: ENE41104

Id like to get $20 for it.

What exactly did you not like about the way it felt? These actually help eliminate drivetrain flex that will spread wear and/or stress to other parts of the drivetrain.

Well......I had a rebuilt motor that I dont think was balanced very good. When I installed the mount it was almost as if it was too stiff and I was getting a lot of vibrations. When I put a stock one back in it, the vibrations went away as if the mount was giving play.

Some vibration is normal as long as it isn't excessive. If excessive then there are other parts or issues that need addressing.

On mine I have Moroso solid motor mounts and HPM subframe connectors (both installed simultaneously) along with my Energy Suspension transmission mount. These pieces tightened up the drivetrain and the car was a lot more responsive. A little bit of vibration is okay so you can tell if and when something not normal is going on from the engine to the rearend. If your car isn't braced up you'll start seeing that stock mount flexing badly. They are very easy to tear apart even if the car was bone stock. Just something to consider for future reference. $20 is a damn good deal for anybody.
