i noticed there are quite a few things that seem unecessary to us that live in florida with the "no" emission law. well i would like to know how to safely remove egr/smog n e thing , etc. out of the car while still no throwing a code or making the car run shitty. i want a clean engine bay (or at least cleaner).
thanks guys

pull the smog pumpand the line with teh 2 vacuums on it till its about equal to the # 4 cylinder back. the bottom of these 2 hard lines goes to the H pipe which can be pulled and pluged on the pipe itself. the top hard line is an air line that goes to the back of the heads. u can used a stark plug and break the other end off to plug these holes in the back of the heads or buy plugs made by trickflow. Might be a little hard to get to them( i did it when the heads where off my car) that will eliminate all the smog accessories from ur car. Then just plug the 2 vacuums that where on the smog pump lines near the pump itself. .. about the erg. i havent messed with that yet. i know u can have ur stock erg plate ported to like a 75mm and shave about an inch off it to eliminate the erg that goes to the spacer, and still keep enough for the throttle cable. im sure someone else will chime in on that

if you are talking about the Thermactor holes in the back of the head just use a 5/8" x 11 bolt to plug it

Yeah, you can do all of that on a 5.0, but not a 4.6L Cobra. Since he didnt say what kind of car he is working on, I am assuming the 96 Cobra in his profile. I dont know a whole lot about the 4.6L but you can check out modularfords, Im sure that you can find some useful info there.
