I would not buy any turbos until you have the answers to all of the above since the turbo will need to be tailored to your needs.
It's going on my 89 mustang lx. Looking for a pretty good amount of power. And not too much to spend. I was just planning on building it piece by piece.

good amount of power and not too much to spend do not go hand in hand. Good luck with that and toodles. I nor others I have brought to this site will no longer participate in 1320 events sposored by this site because my sarcasm and opinions are not welcome here!!!!

ok... i gotta ask... do you have any clue how to put a turbo kit together? have you ever done it before? how much research have you done?

i mean honestly, it sounds like you saw one, thought it looked cool, and now you want one ...

listen, i'm not trying to be a dick, but it really sounds like you might be out of your league on putting a turbo kit by yourself...

and feel free to let me know if i'm wrong

You're either going to have to pay someone like Coastal to build you a kit, or buy a complete kit like one from www.turbochargedpower.com

That is of course assuming you're not a fabricator/welder and can build you own kit. Not having alot of money and buying a turbo kit don't really go well together. You're gonna spend at least $4k on a nice kit and I'm not sure how much you could save off that if Coastal built you a kit. Scott would know about that. What I do know is you can make alot of power with a turbo on a stock motor, so you're in luck in that department.
