Question windshield removal

Isn't there a special tool to get the fucker out without cracking it?? anybody got one?? can I improvise??? I need glass....trying to tint and want it all done at once...

I got 4 windshields at once a few back at cophers u-pull-it for 35$
You can use old hood latch cable to "saw" it out. Works great, go slow, it's easy.

i know there is a better tool to take them out....but I know about the old wire bullshit...I wonder if I bring a propane torch to heat the silicone so it cuts easier...hmm...

No, used all of them. The hood cables work sooo muck better than paino wire. Even if you have not done it before it's easy. 10-15 min. hardest part is getting the cable under the glass.

the windshield knifes work great to remove broken glass but greate pressure points. they chip and crack glass real easy even in the hands of the windshield "experts".

really....so just cut a cable out and back and forth slowly...do i need to remove outer plastic jacket?? thanks....going to cophers in clearwater in the morning...wanna go?? haha

Yep it's that easy, and if it's been sitting in the sun all day, butta!
Oh ya, just remove the outer trim and take a SMALL punch, screwdriver,
whatever and slowly work it under the glass to make a hole for the hood cable you just cut off the car! easiest way to saw it is to clamp the cable on the ends with vice grips. If you hook the cable it will fray, no sweat just move the vice grips. I sware its that easy.
