Scott yolu can run your car lean for more then a split second and not melt anything. Most care blow up their stuff from 1000 feet on, and they where lean for the first 1000 feet. I ran 26 psi and went from 11:1 to 15:1 @ 6000 rpms, I then ran the car to 9000 at 15:1, whoops. I need to watch the AF a little closer. All I cooked was a head gasket that was already going. Run the boost my brother. I am going for 34 psi this time. These carb guys keep setting the bar higher and higher. Fuckers!

On a side note, I can't find anyone who makes a AF / EGT sensor that will light up a shift light when it hits a certain number. If we have any engineers who know about this stuff (I know that a EGT sensor is just a resistor and a EGT guage is just an ohm meter) pm me im you would like to help.

Thats a really good idea, I'm surprised no one has something that does that.

I figure that if I can make a switch that will fire when the resistance reaches a certain level. When you see the light - your on fire.
