Took it up to Fulco's shop and helped him sonic the whole thing top to bottom and it came out great ! The deck on this one is not as thick as the other one which was freakishly thick but eveything else checked out much better. It also seems this one was casted with slightly better material so who knows what Ford does with these blocks.

He then mic'd and measures eveything and all of it was perfectly within spec..

So the bottom line here is to make sure you have a good machine shop that looks at the smallest details to catch things like this (thankfully) and know that even aftermarket blocks are not perfect.

Now he can finally start going to town on it this weekend.

I will have a pump gas tune and a race gas tune for boost levels over 20lbs. via my progammable boost controller..

Have never used race gas before not felt 20+ lbs of boost so it should be fun.

 

I assume you are talking about in the rear suspension ? If so no, as long as it keeps hooking like it has for years I am not messing with it. That is until I put it on the rear bumper.
