Default A4LD Tran shifter linkage

I am swapping an A4LD tranny and the arm on the tranny that the shifter linkage connects to is different. I removed the nut that holds the kick down cable on but it didn't allow me to remove the linkage arm, I removed the pan and it appears there may be a pin of some sort going up into the housing that may release it if removed, Im guessing, anyone familar with this or know how to remove this? If it's the pin, how does it come out?

Thanks

Yeah it's a 2.3 4 cyl, and I figured it out, that pin has to come out to release the linkage arm.

Thanks
