Well it looks like I am going to need different spindles to get the Gt rotors to work. The hub is completely different from Cobra-Gt. Any1 have any Sn spindles laying around collecting dust?

Cody,

If you're trying to use the 99+ GT Brakes (PBR dual piston) on 94/95 spindles, it will require some grinding to make them fit.

See section 4 "Modifying '94-95 spindles to accept the '99+ PBR calipers:" here: http://sn95brakes.cjb.net/

thanks for that info. But I bought 95 Gt brakes from (Asduncan) I have the rotors, and Calipers along with caliper stands. The problem Is. My 95 Cobra Rotors come off the hub. These Gt rotors are made to the hub. The Cobra hub has a sealed bearing, The Gt hub is a oil-bath bearing and race. And the spindles are different ( the cobra spindle being shorter because of the sealed bearing. That make any sence to any 1 but me?

Then those brakes you bought weren't off of a 95.

The 94+ spindles use a hub with a sealed bearing and the rotor is floating. There's a few additional differences depending on year. 94-95 have the same track width as fox spindles. 96-98 have 6mm wider track per side. The caliper mount has clearance for the PBR 2 piston GT calipers and the steering arm is straight (as opposed to having a downward dip). 99+ add another 3mm per side of track width (for a total of 9mm additional width per side over the fox track)

Fox spindles have a bearing seat and the rotors have a bearing race.

So the 95 Gt and Cobra rotors are the same except for diameter? Because these rotors deffinatly have bearings and race's. But the Rotors i bought also have the abs sprocket made onto the hub also. What else could they have come off of? that is 5lug, and abs... late 90s lincoln?....

Im not sure what they came off of. When I went to Cobra brakes all I needed were the calapers, rotors, and new lines. Everything else should be the same. Ford wouldnt go out of their way to put different shit on all the mustangs (v6, gt, cobra).

Default hey cody

yes the 94-04 spindle deals are pretty much the same, you should be able to interchange them with no problems, if the ones your friend gave you arent just the rotor with no bearings or races then they are wrong for your car, the 94 and newer gt rotors, calipers, caliper brackets and brake lines will be needed...and yes i am pretty sure that your cobra brake lines are different than the gt calipers...
