Right now I have 255/40/17's and they suck, besides being Kumho's which make it even worse. I spin all the way through second and into 3rd. I'm looking for the best streetable drag radial that's not going to break the wallet.

 

These are the real deal bro.. All things being equal they will hook better than nittos or BFGs.



Now as far as tread wear, stability in rain etc, that remains to be seen.

 

I continue to hear great things about these DR's, I am currently running BFG DR's and still spin. Street used only so far.

 

i have em, they're not any worse in the rain than my dunlop radials were.
that doesnt make em safe, just not worse than the dunlops.

ps. they hook anywhere

 

Just got them on.. I have not had a chance to try them at the track yet, but I took them out for a spin on the street.


With the stock f1's I would spin them from any RPM in first all the way through second.. With the ET's I tried going from about 3000 rpm in first and floored it (This would have been a spin/hop fest with the f1's) and they just dead hooked.. not even a chirp

Can't wait to see how they work at the track..

 

i have an 03' cobra as well and in the market for new tires that will hook up nice. i heard that i would be able to fit 315 on the stock rims. is this true? if not what is the largest set i can fit with my stock rims? thanks

You can fit a 305/315 nitto on the stock rims.. I wouldn't try a 315 BFG DR though.. They buldge pretty bad..


FWIW, these 275 MT ET street radials will outhook the 305/315 nittos and the 275 BFG's..

 

which has better treadwear nitto or MT et street radials?
