Default Nasty Cowl Rust

Well this past weekend I managed to get the (what I'll call) hack body job nastiness off of the cowl on the project car.. and I can see why it was there.

Upon taking the body panels off we found sheet after sheet of metal "tape" and body coating molded together covering the entire cowl area. After about an hour, I managed to pull off enough of the shit so I could yank the wipers and what not. Underneath all that was a rusted cowl... so no sense in fixing it correctly.. lets just slather stuff on it to give the wiper mounts enough to bite into and hold.

So now I'm going to have to cut off the cowl (all of it.. I just don't want to weld sheets into the bad spots) and weld another in (or perhaps FUSOR it). I've done some preliminary searches looking for a replacement panel and can't find a damn thing. Anyone know where I might be able to pick one up?

I'm thinking I might have a hard time getting it to fit a 70 Coupe And even if it did fit, I'd like to come as close to original as possible.

My thoughts exactly.... until I started looking. I've got to try and find the catalog from Larry's when I get home tonight to see if there is something in there.
