more pwr if i put a stroker kit?

Default more pwr if i put a stroker kit?

ok heres the question, how much more power would i gain if i took my 302 and put say a 347 stroker kit in it? maybe bore the block .030? is it really worth it? how bout adding a charger also? thanks guys

I'm kind of curious, too... I would always assume that more ci=more power.

All things being equal, only thing different being one is a 347 and one is a 302, which one makes more tq/hp? Does the stroker just make gobs more torque, but no more hp?

just by virtue of cubic inches a 347 is about 50 hp more than a 302 given the same heads, etc

they dont say no replacement for displacement for no reason... You would be surprised the torque numbers and yes HP numbers you would see from a stroker motor over stock. In my opinion... best all around modification that can be done to a car period.

It all really depends how hard and long you stroke it. Of course if you get carried away, it won't last very long either.
