Rear hatch striker bushing.

Ford doesnt carry it anymore and there is no "Help!" version at parts stores. Who does it carry or make it now?

did it break or did it just wear? just put some electrical tape around it if its worn out and itll compinsate for it.

Try a different parts store. Pep Boys always has them for doors and hatches.

You're car isnt 13 years old either. 50resto has it the whole bolt and striker for $20 which is a bit much. I will checlk a few tohers parts tores before i bit the bullet,
