When I first clicked this thread this afternoon it came up blank. Then I refreshed a few times and saw one reply from Drewster I think it was.. refreshed again and it was blank. I think that's what Scott is talking about.

I created it and saw the original post I placed (obviously needed to start the thread). Then the next time I check, Scott's was the only post, looked to me like the original post was removed/replaced..

Also, if you just do the mouse over on the thread title, you can see the original post that I had put in..

Possible due to the database problems they're having I guess.

 

NMRA is putting on a 2 race deal (BMP and IL I believe), where it's a limited rules (weight breaks mainly) 10.5 tire class, no holds barred (or close) on engine combinations. Vortech has stepped up to the plate to sponsor it.

I think they're going for the Clash of the Titans type shootout, if they pull it off (i.e. get the rules out on time and not drag their feet like everyone is concerned about) it should be quite the show.

Probably got the ball rolling from Dr. Meyer, he started the group I used to work for and race with back in NY, and he announces all the Clash races in Texas so I'm sure he had some input on this type of racing at a NMRA, but if anyone is familiar with the typical hard headedness of James L. it might not be happening. I sure hope it does though. I will be there to help crew with my good buddys from back home Max Gross (Hot Street), and Ed "Fluffy" Imhoff (SSO).
