I have a 95 Mustang Gt and my fan is continously running when I start the engine, The engine wont get up to running temp and also need fuse layout if anyone has it or an owners manual they can scan for me to show fuses.

 

My brother used to have a red '95 GTS and he had a similar problem which also included some stumbling at times. All he did (this was ALL he did) was just disconnect the battery for a while to clear codes and replaced the temperature sensor to the EEC. He said after that was done it was "like driving a brand spanking new 5.0." This is only a suggestion worth looking into. I remember his sensor had a thin cruddy film on it which very likely caused temperature reading to be off and this plays a large part in how the EEC controls stuff under the hood.

 

There was a recall on those fans on 94-95 mustangs. You might want to check into it. The will catch fire. A friends car was completely burnt to the ground b/c of it while he was at school. Another friend was inside a restaurant and was able to get to it in time.

The fuse layout is in the Haynes manual which you can pick up at a local parts store. If I can figure out how my scanner works, Ill get it for you.

 

appreciate the help if you could,my fan was replaced by Ford under the recall from what orig owner told me probably do the sensor this week-the car already runs pretty good but I found a coolant leak at the lower rad neck and I think the thermo is stuck open-replacing this week if it warms up outside have a date with the dyno this week and alignment rack first of next week(replacing front lower control arms with 03-04 Cobra arms and 2000 Cobra R tie Rod ends)So I have a busy week ahead of me also I have to fix a small tranny dipstick leak. Man it seems like my car is falling apart but its not really I just have alot of upgrades going on and I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my car. Oh yeah and I have a new set of Speakers going in also. Man Full plate here.I havent even begun to build the car up.

fixed it it was an SCT problem they had my program set up to keep fan on at real low temp.
