Default "Carbed and blurboed"?

I'm wondering exactly what the term "carbed and blurboed" means. I have an idea, but I'm also looking for what cars it can be done on. Most often I've heard it in reference to mustangs, which models/years can it be done to? If anyone could explain or direct me to a thread that's already explained it I'd appreciate it.

Turbo with a carburetor instead of EFI. That's what Scott is running in his car. You can do it to any car that is carbureted. Search through this forum for Scotts pics of his setup or go to www.turbomustangs.com and see a whole lot for pics and posts on turboed Mustangs and other cars with carbs.

To me, someone using the term "blurboed" to describe a turbo-charged/carb combination is just as bad as someone using the term "NAWS" when they are talking about nitrous.

Or maybe I just need a course in Ebonics.

Not really. It is actualy quite descriptive. Carbed is self explanitoryu and Blurboed is a combination of "Blow through" and "Turbo". What ever you want to call it the 470 hp you get from it on a mild combo is nice.

I think Mark (Marksaccord95) invented the term...

OK, OK..........I don't care how you guys justify it..........it still sounds like a "ricer" comment to me.
