High heat paint
High heat paint
The one they sale on auto part sis like 5 bucks a can,it says to heat the part up after painting for maximun hard coat finish, well ia m painting the headers with it,anyone in here tried that paint before and heate dup in th eoven well ike a hous eoven is it safe to do that
Do they have to be heated when the paint is still tacky? If not, just spray them and put them on, they will make plenty of heat under the hood.

Powdercoat is your better bet for a high tempature paint or ceramic coating.
Its a waste something like brake calipers it wouldnt be a waste.

Obviously powdercoating or ceramic coating is better, we all know that, trying to do low budget things to preserve uncoated headers is what the high temp paint is about.
