93 lincoln

Hey I have a chance to get a 93 lincoln 302 and auto tranny, any idea what type of tranny it is? I am interested in putting an aod on my carbed 66stang. mabye even the 302 if it runs decent.

Yea AOD, I think its longer than a mustang AOD or something I forget. The 302 is the same as a mustang 302 minus the mass air.

Not necessarily Germ. What type of Lincoln is it? If its a Town Car, it may have the CFI setup in it. If it's a Mark, it will have the EFI motor. Either way, the tranny should be an AOD.

im 99% sure with it being a 93 it will be SEFI. Ive seen a few town cars come in and never saw any CFI. I think that ended in like 85

if its a mark vii, then you stuck gold, forged pistons and ho cam.

if it a passenger car, you have shit heads, and cast pistons, and dogshit for a cam.
