Default Drag launch kits

I am in need of replacing my shocks, struts, and springs in my 87gt. I was looking at the Eibach drag launch kit or the Steeda kit, but how will either of these hold up on the street? This is a daily driven car that sees highway action, so should i just go with regular lowering springs? Im not looking for the lowest drop (if any drop at all), i'm more concerned with how well the car will hook. For the shocks and struts, I was planning on going with Lakewood 70/30's for the front and 50/50 rears. Will these be fine for street use? Just curious to see if anyone has a similar setup or has any experience with these products. Any feedback would be helpful.

you should be fine for street use but the front end will feel a little loose.

70/30s will be fine for the street, a little loose like stated above. YOu could always go with a coilover and loosen them up for the track as well.

Are the coilovers a direct swap, or do I need to replace the a-arms as well, or anything else?

I think you can use stock A-arms,I don't see why not. They slip on over the strut. If you want I got a new in the box QA1 tubular k-member and adj. a-arms too.
