1967 fastback mustang
good luck on that man..there's some company, plus a bunch of do-it-yourself people for that matter, that have pretty much bought up every 67 fastback in the country to make that Eleanor car from Gone in 60 Seconds....if you do find one, it'll be overpriced to shit...get yourself a 72 like mine in my gallery and do that up real nice

I see some 65 fastbacks in the trader from time to time. Whatever years have the fastback but still retain a truck lid are my favorites. I'd love to pick one up.

As for finding a 67 there are about 5 project cars for you on ebay right now they arent terribly hard to find... i'll guess this one wont go over 4k also look for 68s they are essentially the same thing

1969+ Fastbacks Are by far the most "musclar" looking of any stang ever made. 67s are still creeping out of the classic pony era and are a bit smaller... however 67s are not as hard to come by as you might think but most people have a misconception of what a general 67 looks like...

I read in Hot Rod a few issues back that someone is now reproducing 69 Camaro bodies. You can buy a BRAND NEW body for about $14 now. In that article they said that they might do the same with the 67-68 Mustangs because the demand is so out of sight for them.
THAT DAMN GONE IN 60 SECONDS MOVIE!! The REAL Eleanor wasn't even a 67 or 68!!!
I don't know if I'd agree with the 69-70's being the most muscular looking. IMO- Steve McQueen's Bullitt car is way more bad-ass looking than any of the Bosses made. They look a bit to long to me. They're still killer, but the 67-68 body just does it for me.

67-68 are not any special unless modified or a shelby... the front half of the car is nearly identical to the 65 66 and extrememly small, classic looking and even the back has no lip like you always see unless modified like i said
