No kidding. One could imagine what would happen at 100mph+ if one of these budget wings were to come loose or fail in some way. Just another thing to consider.

my other motor came out of the trash at race related 3 years ago. it had a spun rod bearing. i put a set of crank, rods and pistons out of my moms 1986 grand marquis that she bought new in 1986, gave to my uncle in 94, after 250k lets just say that block had no cross hatch, the one out of james dumpster did. btw, i didnt even turn the crank or anything just slapped it together.

ps, my heads came out of his dumpster too. that shit ran 11.40's on the squeeze and i put a ton of miles on it too.

It has to grow on you....I like them...but I don't think I would have one on a daily driver...drag car yeah.......

I need to put a new regulator in mine...I just snagged a brand new holley off ebay in the box for 20.00 delivered...it is the one that is rated for 4.5-7lbs...Laurie Holly say I should only pump about 4.5lbs...I think he's right...my other regulator was set at 7lbs...then I think it flaked out....and kept pouring gas into the carb...I took it out and opened it up....wasted...metal bent from adjustments....LOL....:bbb: :bbb: :bbb: :bbb:

mo' money...
